This Notebook pattern fits three ‘standard’ Notebook Sizes:

SIZE A – A6 Notebook – Purchased Notebook measures 4.13 by 5.83 inches – Can be made in a 5x7 (130x180mm) Hoop

SIZE B – A5 Notebook - Purchased Notebook measures 5.83 by 8.27 inches – Can be made in a 6x10 (160x260mm) Hoop

SIZE C – US Sized Notebook – Purchased Notebook measures 5 by 7 inches – Can be made in a 6x10 (160x260mm) Hoop

SIZE D – Composition Notebook - Purchased Notebook measures 7.48 by 9.84 inches - Can be made in a 8x11 (200x290mm hoop - 3 hoopings)

For those of you with LARGE Hoops, we have created the Notebook Cover which can be made in One hooping

  • SIZE A Notebook needs a hoop bigger than 171 x 247 mm
  • SIZE B Notebook needs a hoop bigger than 240 x 346mm
  • SIZE C Notebook needs a hoop bigger than 210 x 324 mm

We use hoop size descriptions in line with usual industry terms.  If you are unsure if your hoop is big enough for a design, please check the size in mm, or click here for a list of common Embroidery Hoop Sizes

Please note that our 6x10 designs utilize the full embroidery field, which may not fit within the Oval Bernina hoop. If this is the case, you may need to use a larger Bernina hoop or opt for the 5x7 designs instead.
