How Brenda Created a Stunning Coordinated Placemat Collection
☕ Customer Inspiration
Beautiful Coffee-Themed Placemat Collection by Brenda
One of my favourite things about running Kreative Kiwi is seeing the amazing ways customers combine our designs to create something uniquely their own — and Brenda’s beautiful placemat collection is the perfect example!
Brenda stitched four different designs from our Large Applique Placemat collection and cleverly tied them all together using matching coffee-themed fabrics. The result is a stunning coordinated set that feels elegant, creative, and perfectly suited to her home décor.
What I especially love is how each placemat has its own individual style and quilting pattern, yet the matching fabrics create a beautiful flow across the whole collection. This is such a wonderful idea if you enjoy mixing and matching designs while still creating a cohesive look for your table.
The centre coffee embroidery design was Brenda’s own addition, which makes the set even more personal and special.

Why Mixing Placemat Designs Works So Well
Using different placemat shapes and quilting layouts adds visual interest to your table while still keeping a coordinated theme through:
- Matching fabrics
- Similar thread colours
- Coordinating quilting
- Repeating colour palettes
This is also a fantastic way to use favourite fabrics across multiple projects without every placemat looking exactly the same.
Perfect for:
- Coffee-themed kitchens
- Gift sets
- Seasonal table décor
- Quilters who love variety
- Scrap-busting projects
- Mixing quilting styles
A Huge Thank You to Brenda
Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous placemats Brenda!
Your creativity is sure to inspire many other stitchers to experiment with combining designs and fabrics in new ways.
