arrow_circle_down How to make an Easter Bunny Basket
Hokis shared her adorable Easter Bunny Basket with our Facebook Group, and was inaundated with requests on how she made it.
Hokis very kindly shared this information for us.
It is so cute!!
Begin by stitching six
Hokis used felt and fabric glue/paste to make her basket as follows:
For the Bag Base - Cut two felt circles
- A 16 cm circle
- A 21.5 cm circle
For the basket - Cut one piece of fabric 54x11 cm
For the handle - cut 3 strips of fabric 50x4.5 cm
Sew all 6 rabbits together. Measuring 3 cm starting from the top of the shell
Take the 54x11 cm band and paste the 6 rabbits to it
Mark your fabric 3 cm from the bottom. Cut as pictured.
Use the large 21.5 cm circle
Place the 6 rabbits around the circle then paste.
Put the small 16 cm circle in the inside, on the bottom (to cover the base) and stick
Ue the 3 strips of fabric to braid for the basket handle
Fold as pictured and sew together.
Take the braid and place on opposite sides for handles and glue or hand sew in place.
Glue the edges of the big circle against the rabbits
Thank you so much for sharing this Hokis - very much appreciated
