A fun and creative in-the-hoop project you can make as plain or fancy as you like!
Our new Crazy Patch Charm Bags come in four sizes, giving you endless ways to stitch and use them:
Small sizes — perfect for gift cards, credit cards, little wallets, or charms
Larger sizes — ideal for makeup bag, pouch, or glasses case
Choose from a decorative crazy patch front or a quick one-fabric version
- For a super quick stitch, use the one fabric version and skip the quilting and decorative stitches and let your fabric be the star (I did this with the 5x7 Black sample below)
Fully lined, beautifully quilted, and so easy to stitch, only a simple final seam is needed on your sewing machine — these bags make gorgeous gifts and are fantastic scrap busters.
A closure isn’t necessary, but you can add one if you like. Options include a KAM snap, a ribbon-and-button loop, or even a small tassel.
While I hadn’t intended it, I’ve been using the bags with the flap folded in to close and I think they look great – you could personalise by adding a name
